“Bench next to Lamela”, “Squad player” – Some Spurs fans blast €17m “poundland” Levy move

|

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing alleged English sources, Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a move for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vasquez – with chairman Daniel Levy expecting his price tag to drop to around €17 million (£15.5 million).

Vasquez, starting just six La Liga games for the Galacticos all season, appears out-of-favour under manager Zinedine Zidane – with Spurs now looking to profit off the Spaniard’s unrest in the capital.

Should Spurs sign Vasquez?

Yes please, get it done

No, bench warmer in the making

Indeed, given his contract is due to expire next season, with no sign of a renewal, Tottenham look to snap up Vasquez at a bargain price – but some Lilywhites are not exactly keen on the idea of snapping up the 28-year-old.

Labelling him a ‘squad player‘ whilst lambasting the ‘poundland‘ Levy move, these supporters have made their feelings clear in regards to signing Vasquez – voicing their concerns on Twitter.
