Every football club has its fair share of bad signings, but for Tottenham, they seem to be a more common occurrence than most.

From the disasters that were Roberto Soldado and Vincent Janssen to the likes of more modern examples like Serge Aurier and Tanguy Ndombele, Spurs just can’t seem to lift the ‘bad signing’ curse no matter how much scouting and money they throw behind the problem.
And plenty of Tottenham fans have been taking to social media to name who they believe has been the worst signing for the north London club in recent years, with many supporters suggesting obvious players like Vlad Chiriches to more unusual picks like Etienne Capoue.
Here’s what lots of Tottenham fans had to say on Twitter as to who they thought the club’s worst signing has been…
Postings undoubtedly; how Janssen has more than Soldado I’ll never know, that guy was literally ALLERGIC to scoring from anywhere but the penalty spot

Sissoko should be nowhere near that list! Rebrov, Chiriches and Bunjevcevic along with others.
I’m surprised Janssen has had so many. People forget the value of players. Soldado was £30m back in 2012. A huge amount for a striker back then who was supposed to be a top class one!

Jose Mourinho will be hoping to remedy this long line of poor signings once the Portuguese manager gets his hands on the Tottenham war chest this summer.
