“All my focus is on Tottenham” – Harry Kane responds to Bayern Munich rumours

|

Today, England skipper Harry Kane stated he is fully “focused” on Spurs despite recent rumours linking him with a move to German giants, Bayern Munich.

Kane:

“I’m focused on Tottenham Hotspur and trying to do my best for us, for sure. Bayern are a top, top club but all my concentration is on Tottenham and trying to win tomorrow night.”

This comes as last month it was reported by German publication Kicker, that Kane was Bayern Munich’s “top candidate” to replace Robert Lewandowski, following the Polish striker’s move to FC Barcelona.

The rumours gained more traction following England’s nations league clash with Germany, as cameras caught Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller approaching and chatting to Kane at full-time – which led many to believe he was trying to tap-up, the Spurs striker.

It is easy to see why the Bavarians would be looking to add Kane to their attacking roster as they currently only have two recognised number 9s – Stoke City reject Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and 17-year-old Mathys Tel.

Spurs fans are no stranger to seeing their striker linked to other clubs, having witnessed Kane trying force through a move to Manchester City last year.

However, I think a move to another club is now unlikely for Harry due to his age (29) and the length of his current deal – which runs to 2024. Plus, I also believe Kane is itching to stay to in England as he is desperate to overtake Alan Shearer, as the all-time record Premier League goalscorer.

Spurs fans, do you believe a move is on the cards for Harry?
