Geof – my reasoning applies to all Spurs managers too, not just Conte. How are you supposed to evaluate the performance of any manager, 3 months in, if you’re not going to look at his time before his current club?

Somebody has to take responsibility for the problems we are currently facing. Who is it then?

Yep I totally agree BS, I just thought we had more than two players to build on.
We are in need of a massive rebuild, but it doesn’t mean showing 20 players the back door and keeping two.
For me there are encumbent players who have improved and can be made even better.
I look at Kane, Sonny, Kulu, Romero, Bentancur, Skippy, Lloris, even Dier, Hoj and to a degree Sess.
I do think we can build on and with these players to become a top 4 team.
Unlike ManU there aren’t too many 30 + Yr old players who probably need to go this Summer.
It’s OK having one or two elders in your team, but look to ManU I think they have quite a few of their talismanic players in their twilight years.
