A short time ago this afternoon Tottenham Hotspur confirmed the speculation linking wide midfielder Georges-Kevin Nkoudou with a switch to Monaco and announced the deal had gone through.
Despite making a rare third appearance of the season in the recent FA Cup clash against Crystal Palace, speculation linking him with a departure to the French side had been rife and it was being reported that the 23-year-old was out of the UK today to undergo his medical.

There’s no talk of a buy option so his time at White Hart Lane may in fact not be over as confirmation from the club – as above – is simply a loan deal until the end of the current 2018/19 campaign.
The loan fee must be pretty decent as following his reported £11million arrival he has rarely seemed that calibre of player in his four starts and 22 substitute appearances, although we have seen flashes.
If the spell at Monaco goes well for the Frenchman who knows what the future will hold, but at least we can put this piece of ongoing speculation to an end now.
