Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Southampton to White Hart Lane on Saturday as we were looking to put a back week behind us and get back to winning ways.
Although we didn’t have the game go entirely our way given the early sending off of Serge Aurier for two bookable offences, goals from Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Kane did return all three points for us as we picked up the win again.
Statistics website Whoscored gave out some good player ratings after the 2-1 victory but top of the pile for their star man award was our summer signing Ndombele with a score of 8.21.
Completing the top five best performers in their ratings system were Harry Kane (7.51), Christian Eriksen (7.47), Son Heung-Min (7.44) and Jan Vertonghen (7.17).
Also receiving seven plus scores for their efforts on the day were Harry Winks and Danny Rose, but all that mattered really was picking up the win to put recent disappointments behind us.
