With Kane Blow Ringing In Spurs Ears, There Might Be Some Good News Soon

|

With most Tottenham Hotspur fans fearing the worst with confirmation that Harry Kane may now be missing until the early weeks of the month of March with an injury sustained in our last match against Manchester United, there is a feeling that it never rains but it pours.

On top of the Kane claims, we also lost midfielder Moussa Sissoko in the game to a reported groin injury and we’re awaiting an update on the potential severity of that injury as well. Add into the mix the reported departure of Mousa Dembele as a possible option, and Son Heung-Min’s international action, we are looking increasingly light on numbers.

The injury situation at the club may ease come the end of the week as although Physioroom.com list six players as being currently unavailable, Lucas Moura, Eric Dier and Dembele (if he remains) are listed as being only four days away from recovery.

Whether or not that means they would instantly come back into contention for manager Mauricio Pochettino is open to debate, but Moura as potential cover for Sonny and Dier as another midfield option would at least bolster numbers a touch.
