Who’ll Be Raising The Bubbles From This One – Match Thread

|

With the October international break now behind us, manager Mauricio Pochettino leads us into battle this weekend against Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United side.

Plenty has been written in the buildup about both sides having had similar starts to the campaign, or which side has ‘flatlined’, but come 3pm on Saturday all of that goes out of the window and Spurs will have two simple aims from the game:

1 – take all three points to keep our more than steady start to the Premier League in 2018/19 ticking along nicely
2 – improve our more recent historical record against the side

Current form, however, is clearly on our side.

Six wins from eight with a plus-eight goal difference as we sit in fifth place, compared to two wins in eight and a minus-five goal difference as they sit in 15th.

We boast two losses and three straight wins in our last five matches, compared to their two wins, two defeats and a draw.

Over to the boys…
