Aurier put in a shocking display according to the watching-from-home Lilywhites fanbase. He was lambasted for being a “donkey” as well as a “clown” whilst one fan went as far as calling him a “liability”.

Per SofaScore, in his 71 minutes on the pitch, the 27-year-old failed to provide an accurate cross from six attempts, lost possession 13 times and recorded three tackles.
