Tottenham Hotspur’s chances of clinching European football next season were dealt one humongous blow this evening as they capitulated in south Yorkshire once again.
And supporters were left absolutely reeling by the performance from Serge Aurier.
Spurs were beaten 3-1 by Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, a victory which saw the Blades leapfrog them into seventh place.
The home side bagged against the run of the play as Sander Berge rounded off a fine counter-attack with a cool slotted finish past Hugo Lloris.

Anyone who thinks we don’t need to upgrade Aurier doesn’t understand football, along with Dier, Sissoko and Lamela they are all useless and all need to go. Those four are absolute liabilities the lot of them.
Has to be all down to Levi who though that Jose was the answer to our problems. Jose hasn’t got a clue about modern football and will not win anything with the limited budget that Lewis and Levi will give him. We should have stuck with Poch.

Bergwyn showed glimpses of promise in the first half and was then subbed, why sub your best player.
Yes the goal should’ve stood and we should have gone in 1-1 at half time, but if that’s enough to lose against Sheffield Wed, wake up! Not good enough!
Spurs have known Aurier is not a defender for two years. Think they might have allowed for this and combatted it by now. Why did the vaunted Spurs attack only score one goal, and that at the last minute?– not nearly enough from the entire team to save face.
And one thing it seems everyone is forget that all this players were bought by Poch not Jose let him by a few players and then next season you can judge him till then just stop complaining and learn something about football, or why you think Jose wants a RB , a Midfielder like the one from Southampton a extra nr 9 etc, because he knows what he have aren’t good enough to challenge for nothing because the champions league final was a miracle not more
