It’s finally back, we’re finally back as Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester United in north London.
Ahead of this evening’s late kick-off, we’re delving into the sort of side Jose Mourinho could put out after a long-awaited three months since our last game – a shocking 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig which saw us crash out of the Champions League.

But hey, things are a tad more positive now. The likes of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Steven Bergwijn are all back from injury.

Mourinho could run a 4-3-3 formation in order to feature a strong midfield trio.
Tanguy Ndombele is handed a start with the 23-year-old impressing the coaching staff with his work ethic and commitment during lockdown. He’s even looking a little more trim – it might finally be Ndombele season.
He’s joined by Harry Winks and another star to return from injury in Moussa Sissoko.
Hugo Lloris will be protected between the sticks by a back four of Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld and Serge Aurier. It means there’s no place for out-of-contract Jan Vertonghen or Japhet Tanganga, who is dealing with a back problem.
Mourinho won’t be able to call upon Dele Alli as he serves a one-game suspension and he’s unlikely to risk playmaker Giovani Lo Celso with the Argentine suffering an ongoing niggle.
Lucas Moura may also be preferred to Steven Bergwijn, who could make an impact from the bench along with potential substitutes Eric Dier, Gedson Fernandes and Erik Lamela.

Personally I feel Dier should start in Midfield as he is much better defensively than Winks, and has a better forward pass too. Vertonghen would be my preference at centre half, Sanchez for me is prone to error and his positional sense is questionable. Would be a toss up between Lamela or Moura.
i agree with winks but he is faster than Dier as Sanchez is too why i think the coach put him in, for me Moura all day as he scored 2 when the coach was managing Manu Steven and Lamela good subs to have
Lo Celso and Bergwin should start, Jan in for Sanchez who has never really impressed but then we’re never gona agree with Mourinho on selection.
