All a little last minute dot com here, but as most will be tucked up in bed with work in mind, as opposed to Tottenham`s play, I suppose I might get away with it?

Its game two of the Poch revolution and for me, it is another opportunity to see the players get some cohesion to their individual game, build on their fitness and work on the managers playing ethos, which we saw some minor hints of in Seattle.

It seems reasonable to ignore the often misplaced passes and ill timed touch at this stage of the season and these games are more about building a platform for the next couple of weeks and perhaps once we see the returns of the World Cup players and the injured trio of Sandro, Vlad (if they are still wanted) and Ade, we can start to judge the progress and playing style to come.

Though only just announced, it will be interesting to see if Ben Davies makes an appearance, whilst I`m not sure whether Michel Vorm is in the party as yet. With a severe lack of centre halves, is it another chance for Fryers to play CB and let Rose and Davies look to lay claim for the LB role? Tonight is also one for Jermain Defoe to savour and how he will enjoy facing his former team mates.

Perhaps I missed something, but where was Christian Eriksen against Seattle? Will he make an appearance tonight and likewise will the ground suit Kyle Walker? Much like the opener, I expect to see many half time changes and a mixed squad to give as many players as possible a decent run out, after all that (and gaining friends) is what these games are all about…
