They’re Not Gooner Like That, Spurs Take A Comfortable Arsenal Victory – Match Stats

|

Just what all Tottenham Hotspur fans needed on a peaceful Sunday afternoon, a North London Derby against Arenal.

After another mixed midweek, Spurs had the opportunity to establish a small gap at the top of the Premier League table today, depending on how other results went, and the first half was a pretty level affair.

Arsenal had more of the ball, we did more with the ball we had and 13 minutes in, Harry Kane proved his fitness by laying on another assist for Son Heung-Min.

One minute into stoppage time, as is usual, they reversed the trick and Kane was again on the scoresheet.

Half time – 2-0 – halfway there.

The visitors arguably came out the brighter in the second half, but they had to given our advantage, but despite ‘improved’ efforts at goal, they didn’t really trouble Hugo Lloris.

Full time 2-0 and we return to the top of the table…now we see what happens in the evening kick off
and whether we keep that small gap.
