Spurs Will Be Wheeling & Dealing In January According To A Recent Report

|

With recent reports linking Tottenham Hotspur with having a firm interest in West Bromwich Albion Academy graduate Nathan Ferguson, it seems Spurs fans can expect a busy January as we are now being linked with Norwich’s Max Aarons and Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes again.

Aarons and Fernandes featured as potential summer targets across the transfer window, but even if we did have an interest in them, nothing obviously came of it.

The Daily Mail have reported this week that we’ll be looking to do a deal for at least two of the three players mentioned, and that we’ll be inviting offers once again for Serge Aurier, Christian Eriksen, Victor Wanyama, Eric Dier and Danny Rose.

Now, in fairness, the report lacks any firm details about our apparent interest in the players and Mainz forward Jean-Phillipe Mateta is again namechecked given the speculation linking him with us, but given our struggles so far this year and the number of players that have question marks over their heads, I’d be amazed if we weren’t active in the New Year.

Fernandes feels more likely and right back is an obvious go-to.
