Spurs Trio Miss Out With Injury, One Is Ineligible But Duo Are In With A Shout For City

|

Tottenham Hotspur have taken to social media in the last few hours to provide an update on the state of play when it comes to our injuries going into the Etihad Stadium leg of our Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City.

With a narrow 1-0 advantage from the opening tie at our new White Hart Lane Stadium, Spurs fans already knew that Dele Alli had travelled but the short video posted as they jetted off for Manchester didn’t include Harry Winks or Lucas Moura.

Alli and Erik Lamela ‘could be available’ for the game given their respective fractured hand and hamstring problem, but obviously Harry Kane misses out with his ligament damage.

The three other players ruled out of tonight’s match are Serge Aurier (hamstring), Eric Dier (hip Flexor) and Winks (groin).

Vincent Janssen remains ineligible for the Champions League campaign.

Presumably that means Lucas Moura is fine and remains in contention, and at least we can potentially be boosted by Alli and Lamela
