Spurs transfer plans to be boosted by stadium naming rights

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs‘ transfer plans to be boosted by stadium naming rights, Spurs could finally be on the verge of agreeing the sale of the naming rights of the Spurs stadium in the coming days after having intense negotiations.

The deal will be a ground-breaking one, as Spurs are believed to be demanding £25 million a year for the next ten years which would do wonders for the club’s finances.

Previously, British Airways were linked with the naming rights, as well as Uber, Disney and Amazon, but it is not yet clear which business will be purchasing them at this current stage.

The £25 million could be crucial however in the clubs plans for transfers, with targets like Jules Kounde, Maxence Lacroix and Milan Skriniar all likely to be just out of the desirable range for Sporting Director Fabio Paratici.

Meanwhile, the club is also looking to raise funds by selling players, with Cameron Carter-Vickers edging ever closer to joining Juan forth through the exit door by completing a £5 million transfer to Newcastle, with Celtic and Bournemouth also interested.

Another young player who could be leaving the club permanently is former Leeds winger Jack Clarke, who has failed to shine at any of the clubs he has been on loan to since joining from Marcelo Bielsa’s side, and with Nottingham Forest interested, the club could cash in on the £10 million man.

Serge Aurier, Moussa Sissoko, Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweireld may also be signing contracts elsewhere before the start of the season, as they have deemed to be surplus of requirements and all take significant space on the wage budget.
