Spurs Receive A Boost As This Man Could Be Back In Contention For Watford Clash

|

With Tottenham Hotspur’s attacking intent receiving a blow following the quick double injuries to Harry Kane and Dele Alli, with us welcoming back Lucas Moura for the Chelsea clash on Thursday evening, we have now been boosted by the fact that Son Heung-Min will be returning to us earlier than originally feared.

With Sonny heading off on Asian Cup international duty the other month as South Korea battled for another title, he could’ve been sidelined until after the final on February 1st, but with a 1-0 defeat by Qatar in the quarter-finals of the competition earlier today, he is now free to return to the club.

It’s doubtful he will be back in time to come into contention for this Sunday’s clash with Crystal Palace in the FA Cup, but potentially coming back into manager Mauricio Pochettino’s thoughts for the Watford clash next Wednesday will be a significant boost to our firepower.

No doubt Son will be disappointed to not reach the final, but the benefit should be ours.
