Spurs Fans Will Be Hoping This Injury Claim Is Inaccurate – Missing For Seven Games

|

With fans seeing that Tottenham Hotspur star striker Harry Kane was gingerly limping off at the fulltime whistle in our recent clash last weekend with Manchester United, tongues were wagging about the potential severity of the problem for the 25-year-old.

Spurs are far from a one man team, but it’s obvious that if you take Kane out of the equation we lose a significant punch up at the top of the pitch and we have of course lost Son Heung-Min to international action this month as well now.

The Guardian late yesterday evening published a cheeky piece suggesting that Kane himself was fearful he would now be on the sidelines for the next month and that would turn roughly into missing up to seven matches – including the upcoming Champions League first leg tie against Borussia Dortmund next month.

There’s not a single quote from Kane though, so that does at least give some hope that the claims are overblown, but it would be a significant blow if it’s even in the region of being right.
