Spurs Complete First Summer Capture – Some Spurs Fans Give A Predictably Amusing Response

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly completed the capture of highly rated 15-year-old goalkeeper Isak Solberg this week.

The claim comes from outlet Stavanger Aftenblad which I’m sure you can appreciate is required reading in my household.

The talented young stopper has apparently had two trial spells with us whilst our Academy coaches took a closer look at his development potential and it seems he has made the grade with talk of a three year (scholarship I assume although the report implies two year youth with last year professional) deal coming into play when he turns 16 next month.

Plenty of Spurs fans were pleased to see another young talent come into the club given how we’ve worked in recent years and had success bringing our own through the ranks into the first team, but the reaction of some fans did make me smile.

Entirely predictable but whilst we’re enjoying some decent weather, we might as well enjoy things.
