Late yesterday evening, Tottenham Hotspur confirmed that both Ben Davies and Harry Winks had now penned new deals at White Hart Lane.
With plenty of speculation linking Tottenham with an apparent interest in Everton left back Lucas Digne there was also plenty of speculation that manager Mauricio Pochettino may be willing to move on both Danny Rose and Davies as he looks to further improve the quality of the overall first team group, it’s safe to say we can now put the Davies speculation to bed given the five year natures of both deals.
With both players contracting up until 2024 it’s a massive statement for both of them when it comes to manager Mauricio Pochettino’s thoughts in many ways, and with pre-season preparations now well underway it’ll no doubt be a boost to both players as they prepare for the 2019/20 campaign where we will be looking to kick on further and close the gap at the top of the Premier League table.

Reaction to the announcement of both deals was pretty expected as plenty of fans hoped it would be the first two of quite a few this summer when it comes to the futures of a few other players.
