Report reveals the two Tottenham players Juventus scouted over the weekend

|

According to Sergio Baldini of Tuttosport, Juventus scouted Heung-min Son & Christian Eriksen in Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday. The Old Lady have been linked with both Spurs forwards this season and may be weighing up a potential approach in January.

Son has been in sensational form, scoring and creating eight goals in 12 games this season. The 27-year-old has been nominated for a Ballon d’Or too as a result of his form in 2019 too. He’s caught the eye of Juventus, but Tottenham aren’t likely to sell such a valuable player.

As for Eriksen, the Danish international hasn’t been in the best form. He’s contributed two goals in 12 appearances and is in the final year of his deal at Tottenham. Eriksen could leave on a free transfer next summer if he doesn’t sign a contract extension, so Spurs can’t stand in the way of him leaving.

Juventus stand little chance of bringing Son to Turin, but they could have success in signing Eriksen if they’re willing to meet his contract demands. Spurs are still trying to extend his deal, but they’re having little success in negotiations.
