Pochettino’s Pre Fulham Options Improve By Three

|

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that manager Mauricio Pochettino has welcomed back three players to full group training ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Fulham.

Hosting Slavisa Jokanovic’s newly promoted side at Wembley Stadium for the game, we rekindle the rivalry with their return to the top-flight and the aim will be all three points and a second win in the season to keep on pitch spirits high whilst well known off pitch issues rumble on in the press.

Pochettino can potentially bring Erik Lamela, Josh Onomah and Harry Winks back into his thoughts depending on how they are rated fitness wise following their training return. Lamela I guess would be the closest bet to maybe make an appearance on the bench following his pre-season gained muscle injury, but with Onomah and Winks missing pre-season with their problems (Winks going back to February) they will get an Under 23 reintroduction to ensure they are up to speed.

In other injury news, rehabilitation work continues for Cameron Carter-Vickers and Juan Foyth, but Victor Wanyama has now stepped up his work and he’s been back out on the grass this week.
