Tottenham Hotspur were back at Wembley Stadium after the fun we can associate with Stadiums this last week as we played hosts to newly promoted Fulham as they return to the Premier League in 2018/19.

Lucas Moura gave us the lead late on in the first half but Fulham did draw level for a period as Aleksandar Mitrovic found a way past Hugo Lloris after the halftime restart but Kieran Trippier reminded everyone what he can do with a set piece to restore our advantage, and then Harry Kane ended his August drought by hitting the back of the net to ensure all three points came in our direction in a 3-1 win.

It could’ve been an even better day for our England man as he also struck the woodwork and he had a goal ruled out as well.

Two wins from two for Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs sit pretty at the top of the table for a while and I doubt there’s few who wouldn’t have taken that as a boost given all the headlines swirling around at the moment.

You can even rate the players if you fancy.
