There was little hope of Tottenham overcoming RB Leipzig in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 tie, yet more Spurs supporters would have predicted a bigger fightback than what they actually saw last night.
Harry winks has been nothing short of useless so far as has sessegnon! At this moment in time I would genuinely only want 1 player in my spurs team next season and that’s Lo Celso!

Spurs were outplayed in east Germany as Jose Mourinho’s side fell to a 3-0 defeat against the Bundesliga side, with Tottenham now out of every cup competition this season and only having league football to contest for the remainder of the campaign. And on a night of a number of players underperforming, Harry Winks was a name plenty of supporters took aim at.
The England international was slammed heavily on social media by Spur fans following the full-time whistle as the Tottenham academy graduate put on a poor performance against Leipzig, with Winks only managing one dribble all game as well as having a fairly low pass completion rate of 80%.
Here’s what plenty of Tottenham supporters had to say on Twitter about Winks’ performance…

Winks isn’t up to it at this level. Seems a nice enough lad, but should be plying his trade at a Palace or Bournemouth imo. Much rather give a Skipp a go from now until the end of the season.

He’d struggle on his own though.

Winks is running to get the ball for a throw-in, 4-0 down with 3 minutes to go loool. All this guy knows is attitude man I swear down, no talent in the slightest.

Harry Winks is absolute garbage, so overrated 🗑

Tonight’s display showed why I would leave Harry Winks and Eric Dier well alone when it comes to naming the England Euro2020 squad

With Spurs in poor form in the Premier League, this could well be the last time the north London club play Champions League football for some time.
