Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a blow as it was revealed that Giovani Lo Celso has suffered an injury while on international duty with Argentina.
Against Chile, the 23-year-old was taken off after 53 minutes with a knock and the Argentine could be a doubt for Spurs’ next game against Crystal Palace.
Lo Celso was withdrawn with a groin injury but claimed after the game there was nothing to worry about, but Argentina’s coach Lionel Scaloni has reportedly sent the former PSG man back to London.
This has worried some Spurs fans as they already have enough injuries to worry about and they are just hoping Lo Celso is fine.
The Argentine has not started a game for his new side yet but has made an appearance off the bench in three of Tottenham’s four Premier League games, and any injury would be a major setback to his progress.
Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping his fellow countryman is fit and ready to face Crystal Palace.
