Spurs have called time on Reto Ziegler’s loan spell at Hamburg.
The Switzerland international midfielder joined the German club in August in a loan deal that was meant to last until the end of the season. However the terms gave Tottenham the option to re-call him during the transfer window, which they have done.
Hamburg director of sport Dietmar Beiersdorfer told their official web site ‘We would have liked to keep Reto in our squad but we wish him all the best for the future,’
The 20 year old made eight first team appearances in the eight months he spent at the club.
