The match officials for Tottenham Hotspur’s next Premier League clash against Chelsea have been revealed.

Tottenham have seen this referee in action before and he’s shown eight yellows and one red in clashes against Newcastle United, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Match Day referee Marriner has officiated 28 games in 2017/18, showing 74 yellow cards and three red cards so far.

He took in 37 games in 2016/17, returning 146 yellow cards and seven red cards.

His highest card count that season was nine yellows and three red cards in the game between Panathinaikos and Ajax in the Europa League.

He took in 35 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 120 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Swansea and Chelsea in April with a total of nine yellows being shown.

The game against Chelsea is scheduled to take place at Stamford Bridge on Sunday April 1 and the referee will kick things off at 4pm.
