With Tottenham Hotspur slipping up in Saturday’s clash against West Ham United, depending on results on Sunday, the battle for third spot is wide open once again but fans can’t be concerned with that at the moment as it’s all eyes to Tuesday’s Champions League Semi-Final against Ajax.
We are back on White Hart Lane soil once again for the midweek encounter and despite the disappointment at the performance against the Hammers, the players will need no motivation for this one and that should help offset any legginess issues as that was a concern as it appears our recent efforts have caught up with us.
Whether we get any additional boosts on a fitness front remain to be seen but we’ll all hope the players recover well in the coming days, as we are obviously without Son Heung-Min for this one as he serves his suspension.
A repeat of the Borussia Dortmund affair would be nice on this one.
