Loanee Round Up:

Loanee Round-Up: Parrott bags late winner

|

As another weekend comes to a close, it’s time for another loanee update.

A weekend in which Troy Parrott shone the brightest out of the loanees, bagging the winner for his Preston North End side as they were 3-2 victors over Norwich City.

Before the game, the Irishman was sat on 1 goal in 14 matches, but you could argue that was not his fault, rather the fault of Preston’s lack of attacking nuance, having only scored 4 goals so far this season before Saturday’s game.

Dane Scarlett continues to be trusted by Portsmouth boss Danny Cowley as the youngster played 90 minutes in his sides frustrating 1-1 draw with Fleetwood Town, a game in which Pompey had the majority of chances.

Arguably the most impressive player of our loanee roster so far this season – Destiny Udogie, featured in his sides dramatic 2-2 draw, with European rivals Atalanta.

Despite playing well the majority of the game, Joe Rodon will look back at the weekend in frustration as he received a straight red card, late on in his sides 3-0 win over Nantes.

A Napoli side containing Tanguy N’Dombele ran out comfortable 4-1 winners against Cremonese and maintained their grasp of top spot, in Serie A.

Giovani Lo Celso’s Villareal side continue to disappoint as they lost 1-0 to Real Sociedad in a pretty boring affair.

Midfielder Harry Winks and left-back Sergio Reguilon, will both be frustrated as they are still yet to feature for their sides this season, due to injury issues.
