The German Football Association (DFB) have named Joachim Low as the new coach, the man Klinsmann said deserved the praise for gearing the players up for the task prior to the World Cup.
Klinsmann’s contract expired after the World Cup, and despite pressure before the competition for spending so much time in America, he did have public opinion for him when the country reached the last four.
The former Bayern Munich and Tottenham striker succeeded Rudi Voller on June 26, 2004.
