Spurs striker and England captain spoke after the win against Wolves yesterday of his admiration for interim manager Ryan Mason and teammate Dele Alli, who has been drafted back into the starting line-up by his former teammate who took over temporarily after Jose Mourinho’s sacking.

The former MK Dons midfielder has impressed since returning to first team action, picking up one assist, but that total could and should be more if some of his teammates had converted their chances more clinically or if VAR didn’t rule out Kane’s goal against Leeds United last weekend.
His international teammate and in-demand striker Kane was delighted to see the midfielder return to the team and return to form as well after the game against Wolves.
👔Spurs interim boss Ryan Mason is bemused that Conor Coady received 'Man of the Match' over Dele Alli:

“Absolutely, he’s been great,” said Kane. “He’s been ready for his opportunity again and he’s been working behind the scenes at the training ground, in the gym and, like you say, he’s looking very good and that’s what we need.
“We need everyone playing at their highest level to see how high we can finish come the end of the season.”
Meanwhile, Mason has impressed Spurs fans and players with how he has set the team up in recent weeks to be more attacking and play with more freedom, and Kane also has heaped praise on the 29-year-old manager.
“When you work collectively in a certain way and believe in it, this type of performance happens.”

“It’s great. I said when he first got the job that I’m really excited for him and I think he’s been brilliant,” Kane said.
“He’s taken it on really, really well. It’s not an easy thing to do to come in without any experience and take the team, take the training and take the meetings
“He’s handled that stuff really, really well and he’s got us playing some great football.
🗣"It is another big game for the club."
Tottenham interim head coach Ryan Mason said his side's focus is now on Wednesday's game against Aston Villa in their race for European football

“I want to win as much as I can for him and hopefully we can finish with two more.”
It remains yet to be seen whether or not Mason will be considered as the next permanent Spurs manager, but Kane’s words will only do his application good should he be in the running – where he would potentially be up against the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Graham Potter and Scott Parker.
