Kane expected to be fined as he skips Spurs training

|

England captain and Spurs‘ homegrown superstar Harry Kane failed to report for training at Hotspur Way again today, leaving the club furious with the way he has decided to go about things in an effort to force through a transfer to Manchester City.

Not only has the striker upset the club’s fans, but his decision has seemingly strengthened Daniel Levy’s stance, and a transfer away looks even more unlikely than it did yesterday.

To add insult to injury, Kane is expected to hand in an official transfer request in the very near future, much to the disappointment of the supporters who paid his wages and got behind him throughout his career.

It’s hard to believe that these actions are of a player who has been a Spurs fan his whole life and has shown nothing but commitment and passion for the club – and it seems that Daniel Levy isn’t willing to go easy on the first time offender and he could issue a fine due to the 28-year-old’s actions.

While Kane continues to do his best to get his move away from North London, Man City still haven’t got anywhere near the price tag that the club has set on him, and should they pursue Jack Grealish, it would be even more difficult for them to offer enough money to get Levy to fold.

Spurs are also planning to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina to partner Kane up top, suggesting that there isn’t much chance at all that the England international will be given a transfer away – particularly as he has three years left on his deal.

There is suggestion that his failure to report to training could be because he is isolating, however many journalists initially ruled that out – but it is looking like Kane will eventually turn up to training at the end of the week.
