There are some players that Tottenham fans will just always have a soft spot for, and one of them, for sure, is Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale.
Bale on Spurs hiring Mourinho:
“Getting José is a serious statement from Tottenham, he’s a serial winner. Tottenham want to try and win trophies and I don’t think there’s a better partnership than Tottenham and Mourinho together to try and win some.” pic.twitter.com/7hOtvvYYh6

The Welsh international was one of the finest players to represent the white and navy of Spurs in the 2010s, with the now 30-year-old attacker winning both the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards in the 2012/13 season, and Bale’s comments on Jose Mourinho have raised a few eyebrows from Tottenham fans.
The winger, who is now valued on Transfermarkt at £54m, admitted in an interview with BT Sport that he is a fan of Tottenham appointing Mourinho, an answer which saw plenty of Spurs fans on social media link Bale with a potential move back to the north London side.
Here’s what Tottenham fans had to say about Bale’s comments on Mourinho, with plenty of supporters begging the club to tempt the Welshman back to north London…

Bale’s time at Real Madrid is seemingly coming to an end since his famous ‘Wales, golf, Madrid, in that order’ stunt on international duty last month.
