Let us use democracy and let the Vital Spurs members choose their greatest ever team.
We can start with the goalkeeper; please post the name of our greatest goalkeeper (in your opinion) and then I will set up a poll of the top 5 names and let you all decide. I will run the poll for 2 days and then we will move onto the right back etc.
For example we have had Pat Jennings, Ray Clemence, Barry Daines, Ian Walker, Kasey Keller and Paul Robinson between the sticks in recent years. These are not the choices in the poll but merely names of recent keepers. Please nominate your choice and the reasons why. Your choice does not have to be from this list, or somebody that you have seen in your lifetime, so please post away and get the ball rolling.
For the purpose of the exercise we will be playing in a traditional 4-4-2 formation.
Come on people, pick the Vital Spurs greatest ever team. It is a long time until we play Newcastle away so let us forget all the negativity and rejoice in the glory of our wonderful Club.
