Former Chelsea Boss Is “Driving” Clubs Interest In Tottenham Star

|

With the recent departure of Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid and growing speculation about a deal being close with Fulham for Ryan Sessegnon, with it known that Danny Rose remains in London to sort out his future, it’s no great surprise to see further speculation about him this week.

The Daily Mail have him heavily linked with a move to Italian side Juventus now.

Although there are no quotes in the piece, they claim that former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is ‘driving’ the Serie A side’s interest in the 29-year-old England international and that he’s ‘specifically asked’ the club to make a move for the player.

Paris Saint-Germain and Schalke continue to be namechecked in their report as having an interest in him, but the Mail don’t actually name a specific transfer fee here, which is a bit strange for them.

Should Rose move on, plenty in the fanbase won’t be happy but with Ben Davies getting a new deal and continuing speculation about Sessegnon, it does feel inevitable.
