Tottenham Hotspur’s impressive season in 2018/19 continues as we booked our place in the EFL Cup semi-final for the first time since 2014/15 with our largely comfortable 2-0 victory over London rivals Arsenal yesterday evening – and our reward is another local clash against Chelsea over two legs.
Long before we get to that match in the New Year though, we have a few Premier League ties to contend with as we build up to Santa’s big day.
First up is a trip to Goodison Park to face Everton this coming Sunday and their form has dipped of late under manager Marco Silva. They’ve only taken five points from the last available 15, having lost two of the ties, whereas Mauricio Pochettino’s boys have won four of the last five in the top tier.
Everton will be a threat though, but as long as we’re on form and we simply do what we’ve been doing all season long, there’s absolutely no reason as to why we can’t take another victory here.
It will undoubtedly be the aim.
