Spurs defender Calum Davenport might need an operation on his groin problem.

Davenport picked up the groin injury during the 5-0 win at MK Dons and has travelled to Germany to meet with a specialist to decide what should be done about the injury.

He was replaced at half time during the match at the National Hockey Stadium by Michael Dawson.

Martin Jol told the official Spurs site: ‘Calum Davenport went to Germany with our medical staff to see a specialist about his groin problem. He may need an operation and could be out for two or three weeks.’
