With Tottenham Hotspur taking a 1-1 draw from Barcelona at the Nou Camp yesterday evening to secure our progression through to the last 16 of this season’s Champions League, everyone had their own reaction.
Some were no doubt hiding behind their sofa’s, especially after the hosts took the lead, and I imagine plenty of others were praying our performance would get the reward it deserved. I can also imagine a few pints went in the air when Lucas Moura levelled matters up with five minutes remaining in the game.
One man certainly wouldn’t have been toasting the game with alcohol of any kind and that was the legend that is and continues to be, Glenn Hoddle.
Our former star continues his recovery from his recent cardiac arrest, and taking to social media following the game, clearly, he’s back in good spirits.
