There were numerous reasons for delight following last night’s draw between Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur over at the Nou Camp.
Having fallen behind in the game early on, Lucas Moura was teed up by Harry Kane and he levelled the scores in the 85th minute to book our place in the next stage of the Champions League competition of 2018/19.
With a couple of weaker performances in the eyes of some, there were also some incredibly strong showings from the squad, and Christian Eriksen more than fell into that last category.
For some fans on social media, that could, in fact, be a problem as he showed the opposition exactly what he’s capable of and he’s already being strongly linked with the Spanish side in the media.
Has me worried. His price has just gone up.

The one downside is Eriksen playing so well in front of the Barca board, scouts and manager…

He ain’t gonna be signing a deal after a performance like that I’m afraid. He’s got all the power next summer.

Prob is he’s defo good enough for Barcelona, they might come calling now after that!

Absolutely HAVE to sort out an extended contract!

Still not sure whether it was a good or bad thing that Eriksen was so comfortably the best player on the pitch at the Nou Camp. Hopefully they don't get any ideas, but how could they not after that first hand look at what is his brand of simple genius?

Job interview performance IMO ????

Levy negotiations just got a lot more difficult

I understand the concerns, but football isn’t as simple as that and no side gets convinced by one performance only. If Barcelona are interested in him that showing would’ve made no difference – just as a poor showing from him wouldn’t have.
