Two more Tottenham ‘players of tomorrow’ are seemingly set to leave the club. These will not be the usual loan deal arrangements, but permanent moves.

The first one 19 year old left back Yuri Berchiche has in fact reportedly already been sold to Real Valladolid.

He had been with Spurs since June 2007 but had failed to make the expected breakthrough into the first team.He experienced time as a loanee with Cheltenham Town in April of this year where he made seven appearances in total for them.

The second candidate is likely to be Dorian Dervite who is apparently attracting interest from another Spanish side in Villareal. This move would make sense with Dervite’s inexperience showing when he played in central defence during pre-season and with him being forced further into the background with the arrival of Sebastian Bassong from Newcastle.

The young Frenchman will undoubtedly remain keen to continue playing first team football to strengthen his international profile. His contract with Tottenham runs out in 2010 and if he is not prepared to extend it and go on loan, then Harry may feel it is the right time to let him go.
