Jose Mourinho made his first return to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening and as fate would have it, suffered his first defeat at Tottenham Hotspur’s gaffer.

A poor performance with a number of attitude questions saw United take a deserved victory if we are honest, and the only real high point in many ways was Dele Alli’s leveller as we tied the scores up over the half time break.

Statistics website Whoscored didn’t have a great set of player ratings after that one, and whilst fans I think would give it to Alli (even if only because of his goal and his own personal improvement of late), he only received a 7.32 to take second place.

First place, and not for the first time, rather bizarrely went to Serge Aurier with 7.98.

Again, fans will have their own thoughts there but completing the top five were Son Heung-Min (7.25), Davinson Sanchez (6.96) and Jan Vertonghen (6.67).

On to Burnley…
