Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans raised their eyebrows over the summer when manager Mauricio Pochettino brought in highly rated Leeds United Academy graduate Jack Clarke.
The 18-year-old had been previously chased by Manchester City owing to his promise but he made the £10million switch to us, before returning to Elland Road for the 2019/20 campaign. He’s yet to feature for Marcelo Bielsa in their Championship campaign, but he has turned out starting appearances in both of their EFL Cup clashes.

With some Leeds fans not being willing to welcome him back in seems, there are those amongst the Spurs fanbase who feel the lack of game time is an issue and we should be looking at another club come January, but with the criticism levelled at him, he had the perfect answer on Monday night as he turned out for England’s Under 20 side, as his 93rd minute effort secured victory over Switzerland.
Taking to social media to reflect on his performance, plenty of Spurs fans feel the lad has got something about it but he definitely needs more game time this year to prove it.

Jack Clarke has barely kicked a ball for Leeds United this season, yet he’s still picked for the England team, and scored the winning goal for them today.
Clearly a very good talent that appears to be wasted on Leeds.
Tottenham should do their best to him back in January.— Paul (@startedin1882) September 9, 2019
