According to a report from Football Insider, Spurs may offer ‘rogue‘ defender Kyle Walker-Peters in a part exchange deal to land Southampton midfield colossus Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – resulting in some supporters gushing over the ‘good news’.
Hojbjerg, who has started 27 Premier League games for the Saints this season, is currently being eyed by Daniel Levy as a potential recruit as we hunt the ‘great leader’ to reinforce our midfield.
The Dane has been vital to Southampton’s survival hopes this campaign, making the second-most tackles in midfield out of Ralph Hasenhuttl’s entire roster according to WhoScored.
Going by his numbers, it’s unsurprising that these Lilywhites are eager to see the 24-year-old make a move to north London – so much so that they are open to the idea of swapping Walker-Peters to make it happen.
One fan even described the proposed move as a ‘no brainer‘ – find all of their best comments from Twitter down below.
Good news. Next priority signing should be Kai Haverts.#SignKaiHavertz

Wouldn’t take much from that source but a deal like that would make a lot of sense.
