Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be finally be closing in on the signing of Tanguy Ndombele this summer and fans have gone wild on Twitter regarding the potential partnership he could form with Moussa Sissoko in the middle of the park.
There are still a number of reports flying around regarding the situation about the Olympique de Lyonnais ace, however, they all air a degree of confidence that Spurs are getting closer to completing a deal.
Sky Sports claim a £65million move has been agreed, whilst according to Gianluca Di Marzio on his official website, Tottenham are “on the verge” of wrapping up a deal for the 22-year-old for a fee thought to be worth around £55m plus bonuses.
And, it would seem as though fans are extremely excited to see Ndombele link up with his compatriot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Our own Frenchman has been a revelation this season, having produced a remarkable turnaround in form during the second half of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign. His performances left many of us surprised and in awe each week as the 29-year-old appeared to go from strength-to-strength.
Both midfielders are powerful individuals that can run from box-to-box and it would be interesting to see if they can bring the best out of each other moving forward – something our fans appear to think will undoubtedly happen.
Taking to Twitter to fantasise about what could soon be a reality, many of the Tottenham fans were gushing with anticipation about what the pairing may bring them in the future.
One fan suggested Spurs would ‘win the league next season’ with the Ndombele-Sissoko partnership, whilst another said they are ‘going to boss that midfield’.
