With Tottenham Hotspur taking Champions League victory over PSV Eindhoven in midweek, one of the big stories to come from the game was the Harry Kane inspired fight back as we struck two late goals to keep slim hopes alive in the competition this season.
Having staged the comeback to take all three points, centre-half Toby Alderweireld took to social media, as he often does, to celebrate the win and to praise the attitude of the squad for keeping going given how we ultimately dominated the game to get our reward.
This team doesn't give up. Always, always fight till the end. COYS! 👊🏻 #championsleague pic.twitter.com/RtC2m5OVQ0

Of course, with the 29-year-old, there is the constant undercurrent of his current contract situation to factor into things and fans aren’t slow at coming forward to encourage him to put pen to paper on the deal that remains on the table for him so all the speculation about his future can be brought to an end.
Then why even consider leaving this club, still not too late to sign the contract Toby and lead us to glory! ✒️????????

As the above comments ably demonstrate, his message simply became another opportunity for fans to do just that.
