Who`s coming in? As two move out.

Reading between the lines, I have to assume that Harry has done a deal to bring in one of the central midfielders, he has been seeking, with talk that two squad players are on their way out.

It has been suggested that both Jamie O`Hara and Kevin Prince Boateng are joining Portsmouth, initially on loan, with KPB, certainly being with an option to buy and Jamie joining until the January window.

With a squad, already small, but almost perfectly formed, you have to assume that any letting go of players, is due to one or perhaps two coming in the other direction. This morning there are renewed rumours that Inter Milan`s former Pompey CM Sully Muntari could be returning to England, whilst we still await further developments, on Kevin Anin, whilst deals for the Brazilian Sandro and young Frenchman Sissoko could still be last minute captures with our usual brinkmanship.

Although I rate both Jamie and KPB highly, the fact remains that The Prince is well down the pecking order and if a new man comes in it is only reasonable that he is sold to balance both books and squad, Jamie is a surprise to me as his work-rate and versatility are real assets to the squad. I hope this is more about getting him, games and experience, not a permanent deal.

With Gareth Bale injured and also himself rumoured to be a loan target and still some way from match fitness, the fact we are allowing two quality players a loan to Pompey, made me wonder if a move for Nadir Belhadj could be an option as cover/competition for Ekotto? With Sylvan Distan joining Everton and a severe lack of money, bringing two players and allowing one to leave, may be sensible short term business for Paul Hart, whilst giving Harry established and experienced left side cover.
