Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Harry Kane has had a mixed season if you listen to pundits and some fans, more in jest I assume, have taken it to a logical conclusion.
With plenty of talk following the World Cup about fatigue and under par performances, 25-year-old Kane is still our leading goalscorer with 24 for the campaign across all competitions despite the time he has spent out injured across two spells with an ankle problem.
With Spurs seeing other players step up in his first absence, our form wobble came upon his return as he got back to full sharpness given his eagerness to play and following Wednesday evening’s Champions League quarter-final victory over Manchester City, some fans have kept themselves entertained by asking the question:
“Who Needs Harry Kane Anyway”
@McEll02 Who needs Harry Kane anyway? ????

Surely Son Heung-min will be wanted by nearly every top team in Europe. He is playing phenomenally for Spurs.

Admittedly there are some fans amongst us who think we should cash in given how players seem to more relax off and let Kane carry the goal threat workload, but if anything it proves we’re not a one man team and despite his eagerness to get on the pitch, we can take our time with his recovery after the second ankle issue.
