Pictures purporting to be the club’s home and away shirts for the 2018/19 season have once again been doing the rounds on social media.

The new kit has not been officially revealed yet, but as usual, there has been a lot of speculation about what the designs will look like.

On Twitter, fans had their say about the shirts:

It’s a “no” from me on both counts. Hopefully, when the shirts are officially released, they look a lot different from these designs. As one fan points out, the home kit will not look good with blue shorts.

I am not a fan of the away shirt either, to be honest. The pattern on the shoulders looks like someone has leaked a fountain pen over it. They may look better in person, but we’ll have to wait and see whether these are the real deal.

Last year’s kit by Nike was announced on 1st July so we can expect it to be the same this year.

  • I dont like them there is alternative ones just come on twitter they are superb i hope Nike take note

  • Apparently the head of Nike design team is an Arsenal supporter, that would explain it!

  • Can’t be any worse than the Ayr United strip for this season, possibly the worst strip I’ve ever seen.

  • Sorry “Home shirt” appalling, one of the worst ever in 58 years a fan, “Away shirt” can take it or leave it. COYS
