Pictures purporting to be the club’s home and away shirts for the 2018/19 season have once again been doing the rounds on social media.
The new kit has not been officially revealed yet, but as usual, there has been a lot of speculation about what the designs will look like.
On Twitter, fans had their say about the shirts:

It’s not great is it?
— GazzaD (@gazzad1) 2 June 2018
I’m not really sure what to think of them. I think I like them and it’s probably one of those which will look a lot better when the players where together with the shirt and socks

They’re horrible lads.

Worst spurs shirts since the Pony era, awful.

As someone pointed out the other day, it’s going to look like we’re wearing high waist shorts with crop tops.
— Bankrupt (@bankruptspurs) June 2, 2018
It’s gonna look like our shorts are pulled up really high

I might be in the minority here… but I like the new kits…

I think all of them look amazing

Horrible. Seems a lazy design.

Verdict:
It’s a “no” from me on both counts. Hopefully, when the shirts are officially released, they look a lot different from these designs. As one fan points out, the home kit will not look good with blue shorts.
I am not a fan of the away shirt either, to be honest. The pattern on the shoulders looks like someone has leaked a fountain pen over it. They may look better in person, but we’ll have to wait and see whether these are the real deal.
Last year’s kit by Nike was announced on 1st July so we can expect it to be the same this year.
