Kyle Walker-Peters might have seemingly taken the right-back spot in the starting XI, but that doesn’t mean Tottenham fans want to see Serge Aurier leave the club.

The Ivory Coast international Serge Aurier is reportedly set to leave Spurs this summer as CalcioMercato report that AC Milan are closing in on the Tottenham fullback.
Although the former PSG man is yet to leave much of an impact with the Premier League side, some supporters are keen on Mauricio Pochettino retaining Aurier as fans took to social media to voice their opinions on the rumour.
Here is what some Tottenham fans had to say on Twitter about the rumours…
So we're stuck with kwp without back up till winter? Yeah sounds great

Naw. Spurs need Aurier. We cannot afford make ourselves any weaker. That position is going to be Spurs biggest problem this season.

Not a good idea. Means we've sold our first and 2nd choice right backs and got nobody in to replace. Can't just rely on KWP and Foyth. They have great potential but they dont have enough experience yet

Should we being selling Aurier? With Foyth currently injured, this would leave KWP as our only RB for the time being. Sure, Poch can switch to a back three, but the last couple of season we've lacked options.

I really don't think he is that bad. I am going to worry if we sell him, honestly. KWP was good playing Man City, but wasn't really solid during the pre-season. Foyth's crossing and attacking ain't good enough. Why don't we just keep him and give him chances first?

So what happens if KWP gets injured or sent off ? This makes no sense
— selectorman (@selectorman) August 18, 2019
Maybe in January when he can be replaced.

Bad idea

Spurs sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid this summer, leaving the club with just Aurier and Walker-Peters as the clubs only natural right-backs.
