According to a report from the Athletic, despite reports suggesting midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and Jose Mourinho had a fall-out, the Frenchman is ‘determined‘ to fight for his place in the side and is said to be an admirer of chairman Daniel Levy.
Ndombele, who signed for a club record £53.8 million in July last summer, has been at the centre of reports suggesting the player and Mourinho had a bust-up in training over his lack of playing time recently.
Since the restart, Ndombele hasn’t featured atoll during the matches against Man United and West Ham – apparently leading to tension and an eventual falling out.
However, the Athletic report that Ndombele is not close to leaving, with the ‘baller‘, now valued at £46.8 million by Transfermarkt, willing to fight for his place in the team.
Flocking to the news on social media, here’s how Spurs supporters reacted with their array of diverse opinions.
He’s far better than dele Alli and lamela … Mouriho should open his eyes very well 😡😡

Jose is going to turn Ndombele in to an animal, it’s like keeping a caged wolf and not feeding it for a week. When Ndombele plays watch out.

He can do it, no doubt about it. Just needs the PL fitness and consistency. Obviously difficult to get without playing though. Keep working hard and he will get a chance. Just take the chance when it comes. Make yourself undroppable

He needs to keep working hard and he will get his chance. Has great potential.

The only problem I have with Ndombele is his fitness, but he is a progressive Midfielder, always aiming to pass forward, something we lack in that midfield (expect Lo Celso).

In this Jose team, every player has strict defensive duties, Ndombele doesn’t want to do any of that part so won’t get picked. He doesn’t look like he fancies the fight, always on the floor after a challenge.

He admires Daniel levy? I think somehow persuading the tightest chairman in the world to pay me 230k a week! He stays levy can’t let this go as he rarely does unless there’s a significant profit. Look at how long we held the likes of Jansen n’jie and n’koudou

Who are the Athletic? Since when have they become an authority on anything to do with THFC? Anyone who takes that rag seriously is a gullible chump.
